- Inclusivity The forum welcomes diverse voices, perspectives, and career stages, ensuring equitable participation.
- Constructive Dialogue Discussions must remain focused, evidence‑based, and designed to advance understanding.
- Professional Conduct Confidentiality, ethical standards, and avoidance of solicitation are mandatory.
Article III – Member Responsibilities
- Uphold the principles outlined in Article II.
- Contribute to discussions with clarity, relevance, and scholarly rigor.
- Support peers through mentorship, constructive feedback, and collaboration.
- Report violations of this Charter to moderators in good faith.
Article IV – Moderation and Enforcement
- Moderators are entrusted with ensuring compliance with this Charter.
- Violations may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent removal.
- Appeals may be submitted to the moderation team for review.
Article V – Posting Etiquette
- Use descriptive titles and concise summaries when initiating threads.
- Format posts for readability and accessibility.
- Provide context when linking external resources.
Article VI – Commitment to Growth
- Members shall remain open to new perspectives and constructive critique.
- The community fosters mentorship, collaboration, and collective progress.
- Continuous improvement of this Charter shall be pursued through member feedback.
Ratification
This Charter is ratified by the founding members of Hed-Core Academic Commons and shall remain in effect until amended by collective agreement.

Amendments and Review Process
Article VII – Amendments
